Delicious And Original Pasta, With Fast And Great Service

Delicious and Original Pasta, with Fast and Good Service

Fasta, a wordplay on ‘fast’ & ‘pasta’. One should have no difficulty guessing the concept behind this concept just from its name. Fasta’s mission is to serve up delicious and original pasta, with fast and great service.

Approached by a young entrepreneur looking to setup his first Food & Beverage business, Chef At Work was tasked with conceptualising and project managing the Full Restaurant Setup for this client. From the idea creation, concept design, to building the outfit, operational deployment, and staff training, we journeyed closely with the owner and his team to make his dream a reality

Branding

As such, our branding undertook a young and energetic direction with a dash of fun and quirkiness. This allows it to gently break through the hustle and bustle of a busy office district and provide patrons with a well-deserved lunch break in a comfortable setting. The use of bright colours and solid lines are equally easy on the eyes.

Menu Development

Fasta’s goal is to let people experience pasta as an everyday food. With this in mind, our menu development undertook an adventurous direction towards fusion pasta, where pasta dishes undertake local, Japanese, Asian or even other influences for a unique culinary experience.

This brought about original and delicious creations like Shio Ba Mee, consisting of roasted pork belly with semi-dried tomatoes. Scallop Wallop Pasta magically pairs pasta with delicate seafood such as scallops, crab and with diced Roma tomatoes. All these, yet at wallet friendly prices. Both warm and cold pasta dishes are available, once again challenging diners to rethink their impression of conventional pasta.

Food Styling and Photography

In terms of food styling and food photography, we utilised a clean concept that shone the spotlight onto the food itself. As a new entry into the market, attractive and highly visual imagery is highly essential to build a strong brand identity and draw customers. The logic is simple: attractive food images naturally draws crowds when stomachs are growling.

The establishment is set in a bustling office district in South Beach Road. To date, establishment draws a good crowd from office workers during meal hours and has gotten positive reviews from the local food blogosphere.
